Abbi's class went on a field trip to Blackberry Farm and Mommy went along as a chaperone!

Crosstown Classic

There is nothing better than watching the Cubs SWEEP the Sox (especially when you're with Sox fans)!

Sammy's 1st Birthday!

This weekend was the Crosstown Classic so Sammy's party was a Cubs vs. Sox theme. We had so much fun! There was a jumpy thing, games, dancing, rootbeer floats, and Elmo even came for a visit.




Yogo the clown made the Sox fans do a little dance with some brooms (with thoughts of an upcoming sweep) the song chosen just happened to be "Go Cubs Go".

Swimming Lessons

Abbi just finished her first session of swimming lessons. She will complete two more sessions later this summer. Her favorite part was singing the "Speckled Frog" son

We had the family over the day before father's day to celebrate!

Abbi's teacher Miss Jody is moving to another classroom. This was her last day. Abbi will miss her!

Visiting with the Fam

We all went over to Nonnie and Papas for dinner on Saturday. Abbi loved playing with her cousin Paulie and kissing her new cousin Sophie!

Butterflies!!

Nonnie bought Abbi a butterfly kit for Easter. So we sent out for our catepillars and watched them form their cocoons. Then we put them in the "butterfly house" and anxiously awaited their arrival. They hatched a few weeks ago but the weather didn't quite cooperate with us releasing them. It finally got nice and we let them go on Saturday. Abbi loved watching the life cycle occur!
